Yesterday I was offered a free account at this site; the result is this brand-new, shiny, barely-used blog.  Over at my main blog I have made an open offer: tell me why you should be given the password and therefore ownership of this blog.  E-mail me at layers at marktwain.net (insert the obvious “@” character to make it a valid e-mail address) and make your case.  I’ll pick a winner and  make an announcement at my Rural Rambles blog and at this one; it’ll be my last post here as blog proprietor!

Preference will be given to those readers who make a contribution towards the upkeep of Rural Rambles, no matter how small, either by using the PayPal button at my blog or by means of cash.  I’m not picky!
